The Opportunity
As the business continues to secure key project wins, they are now seeking a capable and driven Contract Administrator to join their team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in commercial construction to gain exposure to challenging, high-impact projects while working in a supportive and close-knit environment.
The Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will play an essential role in ensuring smooth project delivery across cost, compliance, and commercial performance. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing head contract and subcontract administration across the project lifecycle
- Assisting with procurement activities including tendering, scope preparation, and contract award
- Tracking project budgets, reporting on costs, and supporting payment processes
- Supporting the Project Manager with variations, EOTs, and client communications
- Helping drive strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role within the commercial construction sector
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project financials
- Jobpac experience is essential
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to working within project teams
