Design & Build are recruiting on the behalf of a leading Construction company in Canberra on major education projects up to $120m value.
We are looking for a Structures Foreman to work within the Site Team, being responsible for supervising and coordinating structural activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and keeping the project running to schedule.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee all structural works on-site including concrete, steel, formwork and foundations
- Manage and lead site teams including trades and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with Engineers, Site Managers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor progress and provide regular reports to the Site/Project Manager
- Maintain high standards of safety on site
- Assist with planning, ordering materials, and logistics
- Proven experience working on new build structures projects
- Strong knowledge if concrete and structural steelwork
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Health & Safety focused
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Must have experience working in the Canberra Construction Sector
